TuneIn, a popular online radio streaming service, has launched a new service called TuneIn Premium. The new service, which costs $7.99 a month, gives users unlimited access to streaming live sports, commercial-free music streaming, tens of thousands of audiobooks, and a few language-learning stations. TuneIn Premium is also available in Canada for $8.99 and for £5.99 in the U.K. TuneIn also plans to bring the premium service to other countries in the future.
The TuneIn app is available on most platforms and its free service allows users to listen to unlimited ad-supported radio stations.
When compared to other premium music services such as Groove Music, Apple Music, and Spotify, TuneIn has parity but doesn’t offer unlimited streaming of specific songs selected by the user.
A 30-day free trial is available for those wanting to try the service before committing.
