Zen Studios will be adding to their impressive library of digital Star Wars tables during the week of January 12th with the release of two new tales based on the film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The Star Wars Pinball: The Force Awakens table will follow the events of the film’s storyline directly while the Star Wars Pinball: Might of the First Order table will focus more on the film’s villainous group, The First Order, and allows the player to control their own Star Destroyer, fire Starkiller Base, and explore characters such as Kylo Ren and Captain Phasma. Both new Star Wars tables feature art, models, and sounds directly from the film.

The two Force Awakens pinball tables will be released on Windows 10 devices, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. Currently, players who buy Zen Pinball tables on Xbox 360 consoles are able to download their purchased content for free on the Xbox One version. While table scores do sync between the Windows 10 and Xbox One versions, there is no cross-buy capability right now. This feature however will be made available in the future (so there’s no need to buy the same tables multiple times just yet).

These two tables come out almost a month after the theatrical release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens which has already had its fair share of cross-promotion on Microsoft devices. The film itself is already available for digital pre-order via Microsoft’s Movies & TV service, while the Jakku downloadable content for Star Wars: Battlefront on Xbox One has proven incredibly popular with movie fans and gamers. There has also been the release of a The Force Awakens Play Set for Disney Infinity 3.0 on Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Windows 10 which, while aimed at younger gamers, is a lot of fun to play in its own right.

Have you been enjoying all of the Star Wars content released recently? What have you been playing the most? Let us know in the comments below.
