The HP Elite x3 will soon become available to purchase in select markets this month, and the UK will be one of the first countries to be served. While the Windows 10 Mobile high-end handset is currently available to pre-order in the country on HP.com, Clove and the Microsoft Store, the latter has just cut the launch price of the device from £749 to £706.80 (via Neowin):
While HP’s Desk Dock will still be included in the Business Pack, the UK Microsoft Store has now pushed back the shipping date of the handset from today August 18 to Monday, August 22. On HP.com, the Elite x3 is also priced at £706.80 including the Desk Dock, though HP is less clear about the shipping date as the store listing only mentions “delivered in 5-10 Working days”:
Lastly, Clove still plans to start shipping the handset tomorrow August 19 though the retailer has now increased the price of the Business Pack to £700 (previously £680):
The HP Elite x3 is mainly targeted at business customers and the company previously labeled the handset as the first “3-in-1” device, though it could also appeal to Windows 10 Mobile enthusiasts looking for a more versatile option that Microsoft’s 2015 high-end Lumia devices. Stay tuned on Winbeta to get the latest news on the HP Elite x3 in the coming days.
