A new Surface device in the budget segment could be on the way, as the device is seen to have passed FCC clearance and could be nearing launch.

Long awaited Andromeda folding device could be shelved as OS components get cut from RS5

Surface Phones’ fans could be waiting a bit longer for Microsoft’s next move into the mobile sector, if any move at all, as the company has removed components from Redstone 5 of Windows 10 for its Andromeda project, and could be shelving the project altogether.

Internet download exploit can’t attack Microsoft Edge users

Users of Microsoft Edge are not vulnerable to the “download bomb” exploit that has come back to haunt Google Chrome. The exploit involves a malicious webpage sending multiple file downloads to the browser in order to freeze it and lock the browser session to a specific page.

Official Uber app updates to PWA on Windows 10 Mobile & PC

The Uber app for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile has been updated, removing its native app entirely and opting for a Progressive Web App (PWA) instead. It offers basic functionality while being fast to load.
