Windows 10 Telegram app updates with new advanced poll and quiz options

The official Telegram app for Windows 10 devices updated today with a number of advanced features for the messaging service’s poll functionality.

After installing the latest update, users will be able to see how users voted within polls, create quizzes, and use chat bots to create quizzes.

Here’s the full release notes with all of the changes:

Create three new kinds of polls.

See who voted for what in polls with visible votes.

Vote for several options in polls that allow multiple answers.

Guess the correct answer in quiz-style polls.

Explore various ways of combining the different poll options.

Add polls from the ‘…’ menu in any group or channel.

Use bots like @QuizBot to create quizzes with several questions and media attachments.

Schedule messages to be sent when your recipient comes online (only works if you know their online status).

Telegram is a messaging app that works in a similar way to rivals such as Facebook Messenger but has a strong focus on privacy and security.
