The first major update to Windows 10 started rolling out last week and now it’s businesses’ turn with Windows 10 Version 1511 (aka November Update) now available through Microsoft’s Volume Licensing Service Center. This latest version of Windows 10 for Enterprise includes all the new features from the consumer-oriented 1511 update, such as XTS-AES BitLocker encryption, Edge browser improvements, and overall performance adjustments, as well as the features tailored to enterprise needs such as access to the new Windows Store for Business and Windows Update for Business, and the improved Mobile Device Management and Azure Active Directory.
Microsoft has been more serious as of late with regards to Windows and business utility outside the OS as well.  In the past week, we’ve seen Microsoft start to offer the Surface Pro 3, with LTE connectivity, on Verizon’s 4G network, making the device a perfect tool for a mobile business professional.  With Windows 8.1 Pro pre-installed, and the free upgrade to Window 10 Pro, as well as the Surface Type Cover and Surface Pen on sale from both Verizon and Microsoft, businesses now have the opportunity to send out fully-equipped and up-to-date hardware to employees.
Does your company use Windows 10? How do they like it? Let us know in the comments below.
