windows 11 magnifier

The Magnifier capability, one of the most useful in Windows 11, allows users to zoom in on their current page or tab, and it gets a shortcut that will make it far easier to use across the operating system.

Spotted by @phantomofearth in the latest Beta Insider Build to Windows 11, the new shortcut will allow users to switch between the current and desired zoom easily.

The new shortcut, Ctrl + Alt + Minus, is hidden for now, but the Windows enthusiast says you can enable it with ViVeTool, a third-party app specifically made for such tasks. You’ll need to use the following command:

vivetool /enable /id:54322778

Windows users have long waited for this specific shortcut, as Magnifier is one of the operating system’s most useful capabilities. The tweet below shows exactly how it works.

If you haven’t used Magnifier in Windows 11, maybe now’s your time. The magnifier allows you to zoom in on different parts of the screen, and if you have issues with your sight, this feature is a game-changer.
