2. Use ShellExView app

  1. Left click or tap on the download link posted below
  2. Download here ShellExView
  3. After the download of the “ShellExView” is completed you will need to run the application and let it scan your system.
  4. When the scan is complete it will show you all the shell extensions that are in your Windows 8.1 system.
  5. Look in the results window that shows the shell extensions and left click or tap on the “type” button in order to sort them by type.
  6. Now scroll down until you find the context menu handlers of the system.
  7. Find the “Autodesk Inventor” context menu handler and disable it.</li>
  8. After you disabled it you will need to check if you still have the same right-click issue.
  9. If the “Autodesk Inventor” context menu handler was the cause you will need to search for the latest version and be sure to check if it is compatible with Windows 8.1
