Windows Intelligence Settings

Windows Intelligence is apparently real, and Microsoft is preparing it for Windows users, especially those using Windows 11.

Insider enthusiast Albacore (@thebookisclosed on X) found out that the Redmond-based tech giant is actually developing a new Settings page for it right within the Privacy & Security panel.

You can see above in the featured image how the Settings page for Windows Intelligence looks currently.

Placeholder page for what will eventually become Windows Intelligence settings. Should let you toggle WI system-wide, then user-wide, as well as browse recent activities that tapped into WI resources.

Windows Intelligence might be or not inspired by the Apple Intelligence name, and similar to it, the new capability should bring all of the Windows AI-related apps and platforms together: think about Copilot, Recall, ChatGPT, Live Captions, and all of the other AI stuff.

It’s worth noting that Windows 11 already has a Settings page for Copilot and Recall, and the insider insists the new Windows Intelligence page is separate from Recall.

Windows Recall is supposed to be released to the Windows Insider Program next month after months of delays caused by its controversial nature. While a local AI capability, the tech community accused Microsoft of creating spyware disguised as a useful capability. After a few days, the Redmond-based tech giant backtracked, and ever since, the company has been assuring people that Recall is not dangerous: it can be entirely removed from PCs.

That said, it’ll be interesting to see what this new page will allow users to do.
