Similar to Xbox One’s EA Access program, Electronic Arts launched a similar program for Windows PCs called Origin Access. For $4.99 a month, Windows PC owners can play 14 older EA titles, including:
- Battlefield 3
- Battlefield 4
- Battlefield Hardline
- Dragon Age 2
- Dragon Age Origins
- Dragon Age Inquisition
- SimCity
- Need for Speed Rivals
- FIFA 15
- Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare
- Dead Space
- Dead Space 2
- Dead Space 3
- The Sims 3
Another title, This War of Mine, is also available. Although This War of Mine is not an EA title, EA will also be adding some third-party titles to its Origin Access program for Windows PCs and promises to add more EA titles as they become available.
Origin Access subscribers will also get a 10% discounts on all games purchased through the Origin service. Just like EA Access, Origin Access will offer free trials on upcoming EA games. The first free trial that will be available through Origin Access will be Unravel on February 4. While EA Access offers a 12-month subscription for $29.99 or a monthly subscription for $4.99, Origin Access is only available for a monthly subscription for $4.99 at this time.
So there you have it, PC gamers, yet another way to enjoy some unlimited gaming for the price of a small monthly subscription. As always, we’ll continue to let you know about ways to spend your money have some fun.
