Witcher 3 REDkit tool

Witcher 3 is one of the most popular RPGs of all time, with its immersive story, characters, and voice acting.

If you’re looking for more adventures in the world of Witcher, you’ll be pleased to hear that a mod editor for Witcher 3 is coming soon.

The mod editor for Witcher 3 is coming sooner than you think

According to GINX TV, CD Projekt RED announced that it was working on a modding tool last year, and the company has finally disclosed the official release date.

In case you’re not familiar, Witcher 3 REDkit is based on the game’s engine, and you can use it to create quests and your storylines. Here’s what the developers had to say:

This editor is a reworked version of the REDengine 3 editor that we used to create the game — it will allow you to create your own experiences in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt by making something completely new or editing existing quests and content.

Currently, you can give the Witcher 3 REDkit a try if you join the Playtest via Steam. Keep in mind that this tool requires Witcher 3 to be installed on your PC to work properly.

As for availability, Witcher 3 REDkit is coming to PC via Epic Games Store, GOG.com, and Steam on May 21st, and it’s completely free, so don’t miss it!

The tool will work with the Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt next-gen update. That’s not all from The Witcher, as CD Projekt Red plans to remake the original game.
