Xbox Free Play Days Brings Madden NFL 27, Borderlands 4 & More This Weekend (Sep. 10-13)

It’s Thursday, which means another Xbox Free Play Days lineup is here. Starting today, Xbox players can try six games for free through Sunday, September 13.

This weekend’s Free Play Days is a treat for Xbox Game Pass members

Borderlands 4, F1 25 2026 Season Edition, Surviving Mars: Relaunched, and CarX Drift Racing Online are now available for free to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential members.

Borderlands 4 is arguably the biggest game in this weekend’s Free Play Days lineup. The game takes you for a chaotic looter-shooter action ride with four new Vault Hunters and billions of weapons. The game is currently discounted to $34.99.

F1 25 2026 Season Edition is also joining the party, combining the base game with the 2026 Season Pack. It’s now available at a discounted price of $34.99. The game gives racing fans a chance to experience both the 2025 season and the new 2026 content.

On the other hand, Surviving Mars: Relaunched lets you build and manage your own Martian colony. Meanwhile, CarX Drift Racing Online offers an open-ended drifting experience with more than 100 cars and multiplayer racing.

Two games are free for everyone

Dustborn gets a two-hour trial during the same period, and it’s available at a discounted price of $4.49. And then there’s Madden NFL 27, which is completely free to try for all Xbox members. Both games don’t require you to have an Xbox Game Pass subscription.

Do note that all of these Free Play Days offers run until Sunday, September 13, so you’ve got the weekend to decide which games are worth adding to your library.
