Xbox Game Pass is welcoming Destiny 2: Shadowkeep & Forsaken and more this month

Microsoft announced another wave of new Xbox Game Pass titles this morning. With the launch of Cloud Gaming as part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate tomorrow, new Xbox Game Pass announcements will include three platforms going forward: Xbox Consoles, Android devices, and PCs.

The first new Xbox Game Pass game coming in September is the PC RTS game Company of Heroes 2, which will be available on Thursday, September 17. It will be followed next week by two other games on September 22, Halo: 3 ODST on PC as well as Destiny 2: Shadowkeep & Forsaken on Console and Android. Beyond Light, the next Destiny 2 expansion launching on November 10 will also be available on Game Pass on day one.

Two more games will join Xbox Game Pass on September 24, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 on Console and Android, as well as Night in the Woods on Console, PC, and Android. Last but not least, the Xbox team announced that the following six games will leave the Xbox Game Pass catalog on September 30:

  • Bad North (Console & PC)
  • DiRT Rally 2.0 (Console & PC)
  • Dishonored 2 (Console & PC)
  • Panzer Dragoon Orta (Console)
  • Westerado: Double Barreled (Console)
  • Yooka-Laylee (Console)

In case you missed it, Xbox Game Pass for PC will also drop its beta tag and double its price to $9.99/month on Thursday, September 17, though existing subscribers will get to keep paying just $4.99 for the next billing cycle. For new subscribers, all new Xbox Game Pass subscriptions remain at $1 for the first month, and that also applies to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate which now includes Xbox Game Pass for Console and PC, Xbox Live Gold, and starting tomorrow, September 15, access to 150 Xbox games via Cloud Gaming on Android devices.
