Microsoft has just updated its Xbox Game Pass mobile app on iOS and Android ahead of a very busy week for Xbox. With Microsoft launching its next-gen consoles next week on November 10, the Xbox Game Pass mobile app is now ready to help early adopters downloading Xbox Series X|S versionw of games in the Game Pass catalog, including Gears 5, Forza Horizon 4, and Sea of Thieves.
Additionally, this latest update for the Xbox Game Pass mobile app will add all EA Play Xbox games once the subscription service becomes available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members on November 10. Yesterday, EA announced that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will join the EA Play catalog on November 10, and it will play best on Microsoft’s Xbox Series X|S consoles.
This latest update also brings some UI improvements on iOS devices, and you can read the full release notes below:
- Xbox Series X|S is coming: When you use a new Xbox console, the app (this one – the one in your hand right now) will be all ready to support your fun in the next gen.
- EA Play – it’s in the Game (Pass): As soon as EA Play is here, you can search the Play List for even more games.
- Coming soon: See what games are coming to Game Pass and queue them for installation as soon as they’re live.
- More games on home: Need. More. Games. It was only two rows before, now keep scrolling to see even more games in your library. (iOS only
Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass mobile app is a great complement to the main Xbox mobile app, which was recently redesigned ahead of the release of Microsoft’s Xbox Series X|S consoles. As a reminder, new subscribers can get their first month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for just $1 instead of $14.99, and for that low monthly price you’ll now get Xbox Game Pass for Console, Xbox Game Pass for PC, Xbox Live Gold, and EA Play.
