Microsoft Xbox Insider release notes will now be on the Xbox Support website

Microsoft announced that all the Xbox Insider release notes will be moved from Xbox Wire to the Xbox Support website. The Redmond tech giant has been working on this for a while, and now it is time.

Microsoft mentioned:

Not only will this shift be a more cohesive user experience by having all Xbox ecosystem release notes in one place, but it will also free up space to allow us to produce more (different! new!) content on the blog itself. We have big plans for the coming months, so stay tuned for more info!

Apart from the location change, nothing has changed for Xbox insiders, as we will still get the preview update information for the console and PC.

The tech giant also mentioned that individual release notes will look different than before.

Xbox Update Preview, release notes

The image above shows that the release notes will now be more organized and easier to navigate. Also, finding information on an older version is simpler than before.

On the Xbox Insider Home page on the Xbox Support website, you can check all the information for Insiders and partners, and you can learn about Xbox Insider release notes for Xbox under Xbox Update Preview and for PC under PC Gaming Preview.

When you click Xbox Update Preview, you will be able to access all Xbox Update Preview Rings, including Alpha Skip-Ahead, Alpha, Beta, Delta, and Omega. You can click on the preview ring and go to Monthly Releases; you will find all the previous release notes under it.

Xbox Update Preview,

When you click on the preview release notes, you will be able to see the System Update Details, then Release Notes, which includes fixes and known issues. You can click on the downward arrow to check the details.

However, for PC Gaming Preview, there is no ring system; once you click it, you will be on a page with a list of previous release notes under the Monthly Releases section. You can click any of them to see the information.

The web page also allows users to access the Xbox Insider Communities, including the Xbox Insider Blog, Xbox Insider Subreddit, Twitter, and the Requests page.

The Xbox Insider Support section allows you to download the Xbox Insider Hub app, check FAQs related to the insider program, look for error codes and their solutions, and view the Terms of Use.

Microsoft also informed us that Xbox Insiders can expect other improvements in delivering informative updates. The company also encourages to send thoughts, suggestions and comments on its Twitter page @xboxinsiders
