Xbox One Guide user interface gets structural improvements

Microsoft made changes to the Xbox One Guide interface that makes it a lot easier to navigate the feature. In February 2020, the console’s dashboard got a significant UI facelift too.

Then, the Xbox One Home screen is got a quicker way to access your favorite content. Now, the latest changes to the console come when it’s only a matter of time before Microsoft’s next-gen Xbox Series X launches.

New Xbox One Guide is easier to navigate

Microsoft has reorganized some items on the Xbox One Guide, which is part of the console’s user dashboard. Some of the changes impact the way you access system notifications, while others improve the social experience.

The new left-to-right tab order is one of the latest notable updates to the console’s Guide UI.

 The new Guide is designed to be cleaner and easier to read. We’ve reduced the total number of tabs by combing related experiences and introduced a new default, left-to-right tab order, making it simpler to move around. App and system notifications are now found with the rest of your Alerts, right when you open the guide.

Apart from that, the update reorganizes the People tab.

Also, when you want to make new friends, you can do that by going to Find Someone, and then choosing Friend Suggestions. This change should help expand your social outreach across Xbox Live.

In addition, if you’re a fan of Xbox clubs, be happy for you can now find and join more of those much quicker. Simply go to the Clubs page and use the Discover Clubs feature. There, you’ll get plenty of suggestions to get you started on your social engagements on the platform.

Will the new Guide UI improvements be available on the upcoming Xbox Series X? Most probably yes. The console is coming out holiday 2020, according to Microsoft’s plans.
