Slime Rancher, a life simulation video game from indie developer Monomi Park launched yesterday on Xbox One, Windows and macOS, and the game is currently free for Xbox Live Gold subscribers. The indie title has been positively received by gamers so far (the Xbox One version currently has 4.5 stars rating on the Xbox store), and the simultaneous Steam release made many players wonder if the game could eventually launch on the Windows Store with Xbox Play Anywhere support.

Fortunately, the indie developer confirmed last week on Twitter that the Windows Store version of the game is actually in development, and it should support Xbox Play Anywhere:

The developer didn’t share an ETA for the Windows Store release, but we’ll let you know if we learn more details in the coming weeks. If you already tried Slime Rancher on your Xbox One, let us know in the comments if you’re looking forward to play it on your Windows 10 PC too.
