Although currency converters are nothing new, finding a good one that has all the currencies available is pretty hard, and harder still is finding one that has up to date rates. XE Currency is one of biggest and most trusted currency conversion websites of all, and this is their official Windows 8, Windows 10 app. The app is both reliable and complete will almost any currency anyone would ever need.

It is freely downloadable from the Windows Store and you can use it to convert any currency into any other currency as you wish.

There is not much to talk about in regards to this app, it’s as simple as they come, having one feature and it does it great. You have all the possible currencies you would want and you add your most used conversions to your home screen.

Also, if you use a certain conversion more frequently, you can pin it to the start menu in the form of a Modern UI tile which will show you the daily rate. The settings menu can be accessed via the Charms Bar, and there you will find the option to toggle symbols for all the currencies, the number of decimals to show or the extra information for each currency.

Overall, the app performs very well, having no problems, it updates once every few minutes with the latest rates and it works great. The UI is simple and intuitive allowing users to convert currencies very fast and efficient.
