A lot of changes are on the way for the Xbox One dashboard over the coming months such as the inclusion of pop-out menus and the implementation of Microsoft’s new Fluent Design aesthetic which has already begun to pop up in several apps.

Something that’s been a long time coming is the ability to pin more apps and games to the dashboard and it looks like this functionality will be coming soon. Microsoft’s Mike Ybarra tweeted a preview of what these addition pins will look like earlier today and also reveals that users will be able to pin up to 40 pins, a rather significant increase from the current 18.

No specific ETA has been given for the dashboard upgrades but it’s likely these changes will happen around the launch of the Xbox One X console in November.
