Two new titles and a repackaging of two previously released games are now available for purchase on Microsoft’s Xbox One game console.
The first game, ZHEROS, is an action and adventure title which incorporates a complex battle system, combos, and local co-op to create a fast-paced energetic platformer. This title is also available for free this month for Xbox Live Gold subscribers.
Here’s the official description:
In a journey through distant and unknown galaxies, you play as the members of the ZHEROS squad: Mike and Captain Dorian. Brave, strong as awkward and dim-witted the first one; agile, smart and ready for anything the second one. They are both intergalactic agents called to defend the universe from crime. In single player or in co-op mode, you can rely on your punches, using a rich selection of combos, and on powerful hi-tech weapons, but if that was not enough, a strong and destructive mech will come to the rescue in the most dangerous situations.
From bizarre characters and encounters to strange locations, find out what mystery awaits you at the end of your journey.
The second new game released this week on Xbox One is Oxenfree. Oxenfree is an adventure game that has been receiving a lot of praise for its emotionally deep storytelling. The game features an atmospheric design aesthetic and the voice talents of several established videogame voice actors such as Erin Yvette and Gavin Hammon.
Here’s the description:
Oxenfree is a supernatural thriller about a group of friends who unwittingly open a ghostly rift. Play as Alex, a bright, rebellious teenager who brings her new stepbrother Jonas to an overnight party on an old military island. The night takes a terrifying turn when you unwittingly open a ghostly gate spawned from the island’s cryptic past. How you deal with these events, your peers, and the ominous creatures you’ve unleashed is up to you.
Puzzle Bundle collects both Unmechanical: Extended and Q.U.B.E: Director’s Cut in one neat package and a rather easy way for the game developers to get their titles more exposure in the Xbox One game store. Q.U.B.E: Director’s Cut is a third-person puzzler while Unmechanical: Extended is a more traditional puzzle/platformer.
