Microsoft wants to provide an anxiety-free experience to all Teams meeting presenters out there by allowing them to organize their screens anyhow they want.

How? Well, according to the latest entry in the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, presenters will soon be able to freely drag the Presenter Toolbar while screen sharing.

The new capability will be introduced to the platform in June 2024, for all desktop platforms, including Windows and Mac-based devices.

The Draggable Presenter Toolbar in Microsoft Teams means presenters can organize their screens how they want to provide the best experience to participants and to make sure information is not lost due to bad positioning of the toolbar.

The Draggable Presenter Toolbar will be available to all Microsoft Teams users. The Redmond-based tech giant is updating Teams to properly suit every presenter and meeting organizer’s needs.

For instance, the company recently announced that it will allow organizers to stop attendees from sharing their webinars on social media. While this might be counterproductive in many situations, certain contexts, such as corporate meetings, will benefit from it.

The platform will also be updated to block the sending of attendee emails, which is often seen as overwhelming. Teams automatically sends emails to participants reminding them of the future meeting. Organizers will soon be able to stop it from happening.
