We wrote just yesterday about the release of Todoist on Windows 10, and we’ve covered the progress of the app prior to this on many different occasions, but now it’s finally made its official debut. Todoist is an app that allows users to put together strong, comprehensive, easy to follow to-do lists to make sure that nothing in their busy lives ever slips through the cracks. Today, April 5th, this app has officially been released out into the wild for the perusal of the Windows 10 community, complete with all of the necessary bells and whistles.

While Todoist is currently in working order, there are still plenty of things that the team behind the app plan to do. With the entire suite of Windows 10 features at their disposal, an app geared toward productivity has tons of room to grow, and the Todoist team has already set up their own to-do list of things that they want to work up to:

  • Todoist Karma – Todoist will soon be adding their “productivity tracker,” which is going to bring charts that will help you visualize your productivity.
  • Cortana integration – Todoist plans to integrate Cortana in the future, allowing users to dictate some of their tasks in the app.
  • Filters and task history  – Todoist is “completely rebuilding the way we handle completed task history and filters to make them consistent across all of Todoist’s platforms.” As soon as this new overhaul is done for every version of the app, it’s going to be rolling out.

To celebrate the launch of Todoist for Windows 10, Microsoft has provided the Todoist team with a brand new Surface Pro 4 to give away to one lucky Todoist user. All you need to do is have a Todoist account, and tweet/Instagram a photo of the task you’re most looking forward to completing with Todoist, using the hashtags #icandoit and #todoist.
