9 Games Are Leaving Xbox Game Pass in Mid-October 2026

Microsoft has announced the October 2026 Wave 1 lineup for Xbox Game Pass. But, as always, it has also confirmed that several games will leave the Game Pass library in the middle of the month. In total, nine games are currently confirmed to leave on October 15, including some notable titles such as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, A Plague Tale: Requiem and Pacific Drive.

That gives subscribers until October 15 to finish these games or purchase them before they leave the service. Microsoft is also offering Game Pass member discounts on eligible departing titles.

October 2026 Wave 1 brings Battlefield 6 and more

As for the new arrivals, October Wave 1 is led by Gears of War: E-Day, which is already available through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. The first wave also includes Echo Weaver, Forever Ago, Neon Abyss 2, Battlefield 6, Deep Dish Dungeon, Valor Mortis, Bluey’s Happy Snaps, Chained Beasts and Beyond These Stars.

Echo Weaver, Forever Ago and Neon Abyss 2 arrive on October 8, followed by Battlefield 6, Deep Dish Dungeon and Valor Mortis on October 13. Bluey’s Happy Snaps and Chained Beasts arrive on October 15, while Beyond These Stars follows on October 16. You can learn more about the upcoming games to Game Pass in our separate news article.
