If you were on the virtual courts from NBA 2K24, you have noticed that lately, the game had a couple of server and connection issues.
2K Games posted an announcement on their Discord channel signaling the impending issues:
We are aware of the connection issues affecting some players in NBA 2K24 and are currently working to ensure everyone can play. We will provide updates as we have them. Thank you for your patience!
However, many players were unaware of the problems and encountered the following errors when trying to connect to the NBA 2K24 servers:
- error code b78ee29c
- nba 2k24 error code 4e940a0d
- 2k24 error code 6550f7ef
All these NBA 2K24 are network and server connection errors and that means they are mainly due to problems from the developer’s side.
Because of this connection blackout, you can’t access the multiplayer modes, or the progression on the NBA 2K24 Pro and Hall of Fame Pass.
2K Games acknowledged the problems in their latest Twitter post saying that the problem has been resolved.
How can I fix the NBA 2K24 connection issues?
Unfortunately, if the problem is server side, the only option is to wait for the services to come back online.
However, if you still have connectivity issues, first, doublecheck the NBA 2K24 server status.
Then, check your local connection and restart your router. You may also turn off your antivirus temporarily to see if it’s blocking the game.
Ultimately, if nothing works, reinstall a fresh copy of the game on your console or PC.
