Surface Fall 2020: Microsoft announces Designer Compact Keyboard and and other new accessories

Along with the slew of other Surface announcements Microsoft made today, including the Surface Laptop Go and Surface Pro X, the company is also introducing some new accessories. All these products have been designed to “outfit your new work or school spaces” perfectly.

The most striking update is the Microsoft Designer Compact Keyboard, which features a narrow, slim, and elegant design with 2-year battery life. As far as what’s under the hood, the new Bluetooth keyboard allows users to switch between 3 devices seamlessly. It comes in two color options and will be priced at $69.99.

Then there’s the Microsoft Number Pad. This one is smaller, and it connects via Bluetooth. Through this device, Microsoft aims to “enable you to get the most out of your Surface or modern PC.” Microsoft’s new Number Pad costs $24.99. 

Microsoft also revealed a new Microsoft Bluetooth Ergonomic Mouse. This is a device designed to be your constant companion, thanks to the new comfortable ergonomic design. Like all of the other accessories announced today, it has a light and durable design. The Microsoft Bluetooth Ergonomic Mouse is available in various colors and, it will cost you $49.99. 

If the Surface Mobile Mouse isn’t exactly new, Microsoft is releasing a new color variant. In order to align with the new Surface Laptop Go, the company has announced that the Microsoft Modern Mobile Mouse is now available in Sandstone as well.

Finally, Microsoft introduced a new Microsoft 4K Wireless Display Adapter that supports 4K resolution, allowing you to extend your display to the big screen easily. The 4K Wireless Display Adapter will be available for $69.99.
