If you have been online over the last few months, or just were casually watching TV, you’ve probably noticed more than one advertisement for the Xbox One family of games and devices. In fact, a recent report from one month ago found that Xbox was outspending everyone in game-related TV advertising heading into the holiday season. It is fitting then that Microsoft just released a new ad for Xbox, featuring former NFL Star Marshawn Lynch (via Gamespot.com)
While Microsoft has released NFL-themed Xbox ads in the past, this latest ad is a bit odd, to say the least. The ad features Marshawn Lynch as an assistant, though he does not get the “assist” part very well, and rather sits back in a chair with “lumbar support” playing Madden NFL 17, while claiming that he should be getting paid more.
That aside, it is interesting to note that the latest ad features a message which claims that Xbox Live is the “fastest gaming network” which “won’t let you down.” As we have reported three months ago, a study done by IHSMarkit has found that Xbox Live performs better than Sony’s PlayStation Network when it comes to reliability, speed, and overall quality.
