Microsoft had a ‘thank you’ message hidden in binary code during Build 2016

Microsoft’s big developer conference took place this past week. Terry Myerson, Microsoft’s Executive Vice President of the Windows and Devices Group, took center stage at Build to talk about Microsoft and Windows 10. During his keynote, the Windows flag was shown on screen in a slide.. but if you look closer, you will see binary code hidden inside the flag.

So what does the binary code actually say? When translated, it says: “Thank you developers, Insiders, partners and everyone else for helping us build the best version of Windows ever! We couldn’t have done it without you.”

Microsoft’s Gabe Aul, the man behind the Windows Insider program, also tweeted out a video message to Windows Insiders, thanking them for being involved in the testing program and for watching Build. You can check out that tweet here.
