Acer Aspire 5 best

Acer laptops are well-known for their quality and great performance, with Aspire 5 being the best choice for most users.

But what separates Aspire 5 from other series on the market? Keep on reading to find out.

Why is the Acer Aspire 5 series one of the best laptops on the market?

CPU and GPU performance

Acer Aspire 5 series offers many models, each with unique specs, and there are 11 different CPUs available across these models, with the Intel Core i5 series being the most dominant one.

The high-end model comes with i7-13620H which outperforms other CPUs with ease. However, almost all models from the i5 offer amazing performance and bring better results than the i7 series.

As for graphics, this series comes with Iris Xe Graphics that is suitable for everyday activities, such as light gaming, office or school work.

In case you want to enjoy multimedia and gaming, GeForce RTX 2050 is also available, but keep in mind that this is a somewhat old GPU, so don’t expect to run the latest games smoothly at high framerates.

GeForce RTX 20507658, Average G2D Mark: 466
Iris Xe Graphics2685, Average G2D Mark: 355

Memory, storage, screen size

Regarding memory, it ranges from 4GB to 16GB, and while 4GB will be enough for most basic tasks, we recommend at least 8GB as a minimum for a smoother experience.

In terms of storage, you can expect to find SSDs ranging from 128GB to 1TB, and in this case, more is always better, especially if you tend to install multiple applications or games.

Let’s not forget the size, and the screen size ranges from 14 inches to 17.3 inches. While larger screens might be better, it’s worth noting that models with larger screens don’t come with discrete graphics.

Pricing

Acer Aspire 5 series is surprisingly affordable, and you can get the 15.6-inch model with Core i7-1355U, GeForce RTX 2050, 16GB RAM, and 1TB SSD for $799.99 at a discount.

If you prefer the i5 series, you can get a similar model with a 14-inch screen, i5-1335U, same GPU, 16GB RAM, and 512GB SSD for $849.99.

For users on a budget who are looking for a laptop with integrated graphics, we suggest i5-12450H, with a 15.6 display, 8GB RAM, and 512GB SSD for only $499.99.

If you’re looking to save even more, you can always get the models with an i3 CPU instead.

These are just our top picks, but to find the right model for you, head over to Acer’s website and choose the model with the right hardware for your needs.

In case you’re looking for something with more power, we finally have some leaked information regarding VRAM on the Nvidia GeForce 5xxx series for laptops.

Speaking of which, ASUS might have 14 new AI-ready laptops to launch, so stay tuned and don’t miss them.
