Microsoft is set to introduce several Copilot-related enhancements this month. Firstly, the Redmond-based tech giant is bringing the helpful Copilot Lab to Microsoft 365 mobile users on Android and iOS devices this month.
Then, Microsoft will also enhance Copilot with a catch-up experience, also coming this month, according to the latest entry in the Microsoft 365 Roadmap.
What is this catch-up experience? Well, let’s say you’ve forgotten about a certain meeting, and you haven’t prepared for it that much.
With this new experience, Copilot will catch up with you on it: not only reminding you of it but also providing you with information and data on a group of cards, which you can use to prepare a presentation or get yourself acquainted with the topic of the meeting. This way, you won’t have to cancel or postpone meetings.
Copilot will also update you with the most important information regarding these meetings, and the new catch-up experience can be used in both Microsoft Teams Copilot and Microsoft 365 Chat. It will have a special tab on the homepage so that users can access it easily.
Catch-up is a new experience in Copilot which aims to proactively help users catch up and take action on important updates. It contains a group of cards. Each card has an update related to an important meeting or document. It will work in M365chat and Teams Copilot. It shows up as a tab on the home page.

The experience will be introduced to all the web versions of Copilot in Microsoft 365, by the end of this month, but the roadmap hasn’t mentioned anything about it coming to mobile devices, which would be a pity, considering the catch-up updates could be quite handy on the go, for instance.
However, many Copilot updates were released on mobile devices as well (such as Copilot Lab), eventually, so the new catch-up experience might be coming to Android, and iOS devices soon.
