Coforge and Microsoft join forces to launch the Copilot Innovation Hub, develop generative AI solutions

Coforge, a leading global digital services and solutions provider, recently collaborated with Microsoft to set up the Coforge Copilot Innovation Hub, with a primary focus on developing industry-specific generative AI solutions.

The India-based company also announced two new copilots, Underwriter Copilot and Advisor Copilot. The former is aimed at reducing the workload of insurance carriers, streamlining work, and helping them make informed decisions, which will, in turn, boost returns.

The Advisor Copilot is for financial advisors, allowing them to seamlessly go through scores of data seamlessly on a user-friendly interface, thereby eliminating the need for third-party tools.

Speaking on the collaboration with Microsoft, Coforge’s Executive Director & CEO, Sudhir Singh, said,

Coforge is taking advantage of its deep industry strengths and customer partnerships in building industry specific generative AI solutions on the Microsoft platform to drive transformation and enhance productivity. This collaboration with Microsoft will further accelerate our efforts to deliver industry leading generative AI solutions to our customers.

With the collaboration between Microsoft and Coforge in place, the latter will integrate its generative AI solutions into Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, Microsoft Power Platform, and Microsoft Copilot, according to the official announcement.

David Smith, Vice President of WW Channel Sales at Microsoft, highlighted the increased adoption of generative AI in workplaces and said,

The use of generative AI has nearly doubled in the last six months, with 75% of people using AI at work, according to the 2024 Work Trend Index Annual Report. Together, Coforge and Microsoft are committed to leading the way in AI adoption, driving innovation, and unlocking business value for enterprises globally.

In recent months, most of Microsoft’s collaborations have entailed the other parties moving their product to Azure AI, the Redmond-based tech giant’s native cloud computing and AI platform, be it with Siemens or Khan Academy.

These efforts have helped Microsoft Azure emerge as a key player in the cloud computing landscape, especially against formidable opponents like Google and Amazon!
