Xbox 360 Blades

For me, who has experienced different gaming consoles, I feel a touch of nostalgia when the Xbox 360 is mentioned. It’s similar to meeting an old buddy you haven’t seen in years. Microsoft has given this good friend a fitting farewell by releasing one last compilation of reduced-price digital games.

However, a small thing can touch your emotions for those gaming on the Xbox Series X|S—an active background with famous Xbox 360 Blades.

Do you recall the Blades? They were the cool user interface that made it simple to browse through Xbox 360, and many Xbox users have been requesting it on newer Xbox consoles ever since. Now, it’s back with a new look. It’s an excellent method of recalling the past while using new gaming technology. To obtain the Xbox 360 Blades, enter your Xbox Series X|S settings.

  • Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
  • Navigate to Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalization > My background > Dynamic backgrounds.
  • Choose Xbox 360 Blades under Featured or Xbox dynamic backgrounds
  • Select the background art you want using the A button.
Microsoft

While we’re here, the Xbox 360 digital store will close soon (on July 29, to be exact). Starting in August, it won’t be possible for you to buy any games, DLC packs, or other content from the Xbox 360 store anymore. Truly, this marks the end of an era. Nevertheless, until the doors shut permanently, Microsoft will give substantial discounts on digital games. This can be a wonderful chance to obtain specific titles you may have overlooked or go back to old loves that are incompatible with the newer consoles.

This news could be good or bad for people who have kept their Xbox 360 with them. It provides a chance to grow your assortment at lower prices but also symbolizes the end of the console era in digital time.

You can check out the complete list of all the discounted games on the Xbox 360 digital store here. And don’t forget to change your background to that of the Xbox 360 Blades. Let us know in the comments how you like it.
