Microsoft 365 Copilot

Do you remember the Microsoft 365 Copilot Usage report that debuted in the admin center earlier this year? Well, it seems that the Redmond-based tech giant is looking to enhance it by allowing users to suggest candidates for Copilot.

In other words, according to the entry in the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, the new column is intended to help admins with licensing decisions quickly identify users or candidates who are most likely to get the most value from using Copilot.

The entry doesn’t describe how this new feature will be decided, but it will examine each user’s Microsoft 365 app usage. If it’s relevant, the users will be appointed as suggestions to the admins.

Here’s what the entry says:

A new column will be added to the Readiness section of the Microsoft 365 Copilot Usage report showing suggested candidates for Microsoft 365 Copilot. This new column is intended to help admins with licensing decisions by quickly identifying users who are in a strong position to get the most value from Microsoft 365 Copilot based on their relevant Microsoft 365 app usage.

In other news, Copilot users should get excited about the AI model, as the Redmond-based tech giant is enhancing it to generate video drafts for users with only a single input.
