Lenovo Auto Twist

Lenovo Innovation World 2024 is in full swing at IFA 2024, and the company previewed a new 2-in-1 PC concept. It’s called the Lenovo Auto Twist, and it seems like a regular 2-in-1 PC until you move around a room.

The Lenovo Auto Twist has several features that help it move with you. For starters, it has movement-tracking sensors that detect when you shift so the screen can rotate to the best position for your view. Lenovo says this feature is handy when you’re in a meeting or giving a presentation to ensure everyone can see the content on the screen.

In addition, the Auto Twist has special voice commands that can be used to control the PC. Commands like “laptop mode,” “tablet mode,” and “close laptop” dismiss the screen so you don’t have to interact with the PC as much. When you stop using the PC, the display will automatically close to protect the screen and keyboard.

The Lenovo Auto Twist is a concept, so its fate is uncertain. That said, Lenovo often uses its concept products to test new ideas, so it won’t be surprising if we see some of its features in Lenovo PCs in the future.

Ultimately, if Lenovo Copilot+ PCs happened, why wouldn’t this see the light of day?
