SharePoint Editorial Card

SharePoint will introduce a new Editorial Card web part in its Pages and News section. This part will allow users to manually create content in a card-like container.

We don’t know what precisely this card-like container means. Still, its description is very similar to the capabilities released in Microsoft Loop, which let users move around shareable card-like plans.

If that’s the case, the new Editorial Card should be movable. You can move it around to make creating content for SharePoint sites easier. The Redmond-based tech giant says the new capability will enhance page experiences.

Here’s what the entry says:

Cloud IntelliFrame, the video framing feature that enhances the visibility of people in the room for online meeting attendees, is now available for Teams mobile users when they join a meeting that has participants in a Teams Rooms on Windows.

According to the latest entry in the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, the new Editorial Card will be released in SharePoint in December 2024.

What do you think about it?
