outlook custom account icons

Outlook will make it easier to distinguish your accounts thanks to a new capability that lets users create custom icons for their profiles.

Announced in an entry to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, the capability will be used in Outlook Mobile and let you know which account you are using.

Here’s what the entry says:

Soon, you’ll be able to choose a custom icon so that it’s easier to tell your accounts apart while using Outlook on iOS and Android.

The Custom account icons are set to be released for Outlook for Mobile in January 2025 on Android and iOS devices.

In other news, Outlook will let users access the other Microsoft 365 apps directly from the platform in the following months. Microsoft is going to enhance the platform for it in a quest to make it easier to navigate and use the 365 Suite.
