Xbox Game Pass January Wave 2 Lineup Brings Warhammer 40K: Space Marine II as 7 Titles Leave

If you have been waiting for Microsoft to drop the Xbox Game Pass titles, well, it’s here. The wave 2 lineup includes some big releases, day-one drops, and a few quiet surprises. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II, which joins the service later this month alongside Death Stranding Director’s Cut, is among the few notable titles coming to Xbox Game Pass this month.

Meanwhile, some games are already live on Xbox Game Pass. For example, Resident Evil Village is now available across cloud, console, and PC. The game offers a closer look at Ethan Winters’ haunting journey back into the spotlight. MIO: Memories in Orbit, a day-one Game Pass release, is joining alongside, as we previously reported in late 2025.

Tomorrow, January 21, a few big games are dropping on Xbox Game Pass. Death Stranding Director’s Cut is one of them, giving you the chance to jump into Hideo Kojima’s surreal world with expanded content. The same day, RoadCraft, a physics-driven rebuilding sim, and Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, a fast-paced side-scroller, will join the service.

Moving on, The Talos Principle 2 lands on January 27, followed by Anno: Mutationem and Drop Duchy on January 28. January 29 is the day for MySims: Cozy Bundle and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II to join the catalog. On February 2, you’ll get a chance to grab Indika, while Final Fantasy II releases on February 3. There are also a few titles leaving Xbox Game Pass on January 31.
