MIO: Memories in Orbit & Nova Roma Confirmed to Join Xbox Game Pass in January 2026

January 20 and 22 are respective launch dates

If you’re still catching your breath from this week’s Xbox releases, here’s another reason to keep an eye on the calendar. We are already looking at January 2026, and for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, we’ve first two confirmed titles, courtesy of folks at Pure Xbox.

Before we talk about it, let’s not forget that more than 20 games are landing on the platform this week alone, led by God Bless, or Goddess, which launches today. Speaking of new Xbox titles bound to launch in January 2026, you will come across MIO: Memories in Orbit. It will reportedly launch on January 20 for both console and PC. The game lets you be in control of MIO, an android exploring a massive, decaying technological ark.

A few days later, on January 22, Nova Roma will join Xbox Game Pass. Unlike MIO, this one is exclusive to PC via Game Pass. It’s a city-building strategy game set in ancient Rome, where managing supply chains, keeping citizens happy, and staying on the gods’ good side are all part of the challenge.

Microsoft hasn’t revealed the full January lineup yet, and more announcements are expected closer to the new year.
