Ubisoft Launches Free Ubisoft+ Premium Trial for XBOX and PC
Ubisoft has launched a new five-day free trial for Ubisoft+ Premium, giving PC and XBOX players temporary access to dozens of premium Ubisoft games. The promotion comes shortly after the company made headlines for shutting down two of its studios as part of ongoing restructuring efforts.
The free trial grants access to Premium Editions of several major Ubisoft titles, including Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition, and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora – Complete Edition. In total, subscribers can access more than 60 games available through the Ubisoft+ Premium catalog.
How to Claim the Ubisoft+ Premium Free Trial
Players cannot activate the trial directly from an XBOX console. Instead, Ubisoft requires users to visit its website and select the “Premium – Free for 5 days” offer.
XBOX users must also link their Ubisoft account with their XBOX account before they can access the subscription benefits on console. Once the accounts are connected and the trial is activated, eligible games should appear as installable on XBOX within approximately 15 minutes.
Credit Card Required
Like many subscription-based trials, Ubisoft requires users to provide a valid payment method during registration. A credit card or PayPal account must be added during checkout to complete the sign-up process.
Players who do not cancel before the trial period ends will automatically transition to a paid Ubisoft+ Premium subscription and receive a charge for the next billing cycle.
However, users can cancel immediately after activating the trial while still retaining access to the service until the promotional period ends on June 23.
Ubisoft Pushes Subscription Growth
The promotion appears to be part of Ubisoft’s broader effort to attract new subscribers and encourage long-term adoption of Ubisoft+ Premium.
The offer also gives players an opportunity to sample newer Ubisoft releases without purchasing them individually, potentially increasing engagement across the company’s gaming ecosystem.
In other gaming news, XBOX recently began highlighting exclusive games directly on the dashboard and has also confirmed its presence at Gamescom 2026.
