XBOX Free Play Days Brings GTA Online & More This Weekend (Jul. 16-19)

It’s Thursday, which means Xbox Free Play Days is back with another weekend packed with games to try at no extra cost. Starting today (July 16) and running through Sunday (July 19), Xbox players can jump into five different titles, ranging from racing and sports to anime action, management simulators, and even an upcoming horror experience.

XBOX Free Play Days lets you try five games this weekend

First up is Crisol: Theater of Idols. This is the newest addition to the lineup and gives players an early chance to experience Vermila Studios’ upcoming first-person horror shooter. Set in the eerie island of Tormentosa, the game mixes survival horror with intense gunplay while introducing a unique mechanic where your own blood serves as ammunition.

Next in this weekend’s Free Play Days lineup is Planet Zoo: Console Edition. Originally launched on PC in 2019 before making its way to Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 in 2024, the beloved zoo management simulator lets players build detailed habitats, care for hundreds of realistic animal species, and create the ultimate wildlife park.

Also joining this weekend’s Xbox Free Play Days lineup is Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports. The arcade-style sports collection lets Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Taz, Wile E. Coyote, and other iconic characters compete across basketball, soccer, golf, and tennis. Meanwhile, anime fans can also jump into Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Bandai Namco’s long-running action RPG that continues to receive new content years after launch. Players can create their own Time Patroller, relive famous Dragon Ball battles, and fight alongside legendary characters from across the franchise. Finally, GTA Online is also free to play for all Xbox players this weekend as part of Free Play Days.
