Microsoft Just Made 45 More XBOX Games Handheld-Ready

XBOX has already confirmed that over 40 games are releasing this week, alongside 11 confirmed games for the XBOX Game Pass September lineup. Now, Microsoft has expanded handheld support for another 45 games.

45 games gain Xbox handheld support

Microsoft’s latest Xbox Store update adds handheld support for 45 games, according to TrueAchievements.

Of those, 25 games now carry the handheld-optimized classification. These titles should work on supported handheld devices without requiring players to change in-game settings.

Another 20 games are classified as handheld-compatible, meaning players may need to adjust some settings for a better experience.

Fable and Fortnite are among the highlights

Fable is now listed as handheld-optimized ahead of its planned launch next year.

Fortnite has also received the handheld-optimized classification.

Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage joins the optimized list as well and is coming to Game Pass next month.

The handheld update adds to an already busy September for XBOX. Microsoft also has 59 Xbox Play Anywhere games lined up for September, giving players more titles that can move between Xbox consoles and Windows PCs.
