Nintendo has accidentally leaked the price of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake. According to multiple reports, The Ocarina of Time remake’s price briefly appeared on the Australian eShop with a digital price of AU$94.95, pointing to a $59.99 US price.

The listing has since been taken down, but the price matches Nintendo’s current pricing pattern for comparable Switch 2 releases. Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, for example, costs $59.99 digitally and $69.99 physically in the US.

That would put the Ocarina of Time remake below Nintendo’s $70 Switch 2 tier. A physical release is therefore expected to land around $69.99, although Nintendo has not officially confirmed either US price yet. The price also lines up with an earlier PlayAsia listing, which showed the physical game at $59.99. That listing was likely discounted, however, making today’s eShop leak a much stronger pricing clue.

The Zelda 40th Anniversay Direct could finally clear everything up

Nintendo is scheduled to hold its Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct today, with the Ocarina of Time remake expected to take center stage. So far, Nintendo has only shown a brief cinematic teaser poster showing young Link asleep in bed.

A $59.99 digital price could make the remake easier to swallow, especially if Nintendo has rebuilt more than the visuals.
