Personal 4 Revival Release Date Confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2, Persona 6 Also Revealed for Latest Console
If you have been waiting to know whether Persona 6 would release on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo just gave you the news you wanted. During today’s Nintendo Direct, Atlus finally revealed the next mainline Persona game with a short teaser, although details are still extremely limited.
Persona 6 gets its first official look for Nintendo Switch 2
The Persona 6 reveal came toward the end of Nintendo’s latest Direct. Before that, Atlus showed off another major Persona project with the first trailer for Persona 4 Revival. Persona 4 Revival is a complete remake of Persona 4 Golden. The game is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on May 20, 2027, giving fans another modern take on the classic RPG.
That being said, Persona 6 was easily the bigger surprise. After years of waiting, Atlus finally put the game on screen with a short logo teaser. Unfortunately, that is pretty much where the information ends. Nintendo and Atlus didn’t reveal gameplay, characters, platforms, or a release date during the presentation.
Persona 6 could still be a long way off
The lack of details suggests fans may have to wait considerably longer before Persona 6 properly emerges. There is currently no official release window, so any prediction remains speculative. The game appearing during a Nintendo Direct does suggest that Switch 2 could be part of Atlus’ plans for the new entry. However, Nintendo has not confirmed whether the console will receive the game alongside PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
For now, the logo is all we have. But after years of rumors and waiting, Persona 6 is finally real.
