Microsoft Jewel Launches on Mobile With Xbox Achievements and Game Pass Perks

Microsoft has launched Microsoft Jewel on iOS and Android, bringing its familiar match-3 puzzle game to mobile as a standalone app. The release also introduces Xbox Achievements on mobile and cross-device progress syncing with PC.

Microsoft Jewel finally gets a standalone mobile release

The launch marks Microsoft Casual Games’ first new mobile app in seven years and expands its lineup to five mobile games. Microsoft Jewel was previously available through PC, Microsoft Solitaire Collection, and the Xbox mobile app, but players can now download it directly on iPhone and Android.

The gameplay remains straightforward. Players match three or more jewels, clear the board, build their score, and use Bonus Jewels and power-ups to trigger larger combinations and chain reactions.

Microsoft has also added Daily Challenges, giving players a fresh objective each day. The challenges can involve chasing higher scores or completing specific goals, potentially giving regular players another reason to return. One of the bigger additions is Xbox integration. Players who sign in with a Microsoft account can earn Xbox Achievements directly on mobile, allowing progress to contribute to their Xbox profile while playing on a phone or tablet.

Game Pass adds more perks

Progress can also sync between the iOS, Android, and standalone PC versions of Microsoft Jewel. That means a player can continue a game across devices without having to start over.

Game Pass members get additional benefits as well. PC Game Pass members receive Premium benefits on PC, including an ad-free experience and other in-game perks, while Game Pass Ultimate extends those Premium benefits to both PC and mobile.

Microsoft Jewel is available now through the App Store, Google Play, and Microsoft Store. With Xbox Achievements and cross-device progression built into the experience, it appears Microsoft is positioning the casual puzzle game as another small but connected part of the wider Xbox ecosystem.
