Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards are reportedly facing another round of price increases in November 2026, with some RTX 5080 models seeing hikes of up to $450.

Chinese graphics card manufacturer Colorful has reportedly increased prices across its RTX 50 lineup, while GALAX/KFA2 is preparing similar adjustments.

Nvidia RTX 50 series faces significant price increases

According to information shared by harukaze5719, Colorful has introduced price increases across several RTX 50 series models, with high-end GPUs seeing the largest adjustments.

The reported increases include:

  • RTX 5090D v2: $330 to $550
  • RTX 5080: $380 to $450
  • RTX 5070 Ti: Approximately $150
  • RTX 5070: $90 to $135
  • RTX 5060 Ti 16GB: $37 to $60
  • RTX 5060 Ti 8GB: $15 to $22
  • RTX 5060 8GB: $22 to $30

These figures reflect reported manufacturer pricing changes, so actual retail increases may vary depending on the market and graphics card model.

GALAX/KFA2 is also reportedly preparing price increases of at least 200 yuan, approximately $30, for RTX 5060 and higher models. The adjustments could take effect during the first week of November.

AI demand and memory shortages continue to push GPU prices higher

Rising memory costs and supply shortages linked to growing AI infrastructure demand are reportedly driving the latest price increases.

The issue extends beyond Nvidia, with AMD Radeon RX 9000 and Intel Arc graphics cards also facing higher prices.

Professional GPUs, including Nvidia RTX Pro, AMD Radeon AI Pro, and Intel Arc Pro models, are reportedly experiencing similar pricing pressure.

Older Nvidia GPUs could become more attractive to gamers

With newer graphics cards becoming more expensive, some manufacturers are reportedly encouraging consumers to consider older models such as the RTX 3050 and RTX 3060 as more affordable alternatives.

The RTX 3060 also reclaimed its position as the most popular GPU in Steam’s October 2026 Hardware Survey, showing that the older graphics card remains widely used among PC gamers.

Meanwhile, the US market is also experiencing pricing pressure, with RTX 5090 prices reaching record highs.

Nvidia has also denied rumors that it plans to discontinue the RTX 5090, although the company acknowledged ongoing supply constraints.

For now, the latest reported increases concern Chinese manufacturers, and it remains unclear whether other markets will experience similar price hikes.
