Xbox’s New Series X-BITE Is One Big Gator With a Console in Its Gut, and One Lucky Fan Can Win It
Xbox has taken console giveaways to a ridiculous new level. The company has unveiled the Xbox Series X-BITE, a custom alligator fabrication housing a working Xbox Series X. Fortunately, one lucky fan can win this unusual creation through a limited-time sweepstakes.
Xbox Series X-BITE puts a working console inside an alligator
The custom creation measures more than five feet from snout to tail. Its body features an illuminated Xbox Nexus, while a custom Xbox Wireless Controller sits between its jaws. The controller also features bite marks, with Xbox-green irises and Nexus-inspired pupils completing the unusual design. Despite its wild appearance, the centerpiece remains a functioning Xbox Series X.
Microsoft brought in creature animatronics specialists John Nolan Studio to turn the concept into reality. The studio has previously worked on projects including The Witcher, Jurassic World Dominion, and HBO’s upcoming Harry Potter series.
The result looks more like a movie prop than a conventional gaming console. Don’t worry about alligator. Microsoft says the alligator is a custom fabrication, and no actual alligators were used or harmed.
How to win Xbox’s bizarre console giveaway
Microsoft is giving one person the chance to own the Xbox Series X-BITE. The sweepstakes opened on November 3 and runs through November 10, 2026. There are three ways to enter, using X, Instagram, or TikTok. Participants must follow Xbox on their chosen platform, repost the designated sweepstakes post, and manually add #XbiteSweepstakes to their repost.
Accounts must remain public so Microsoft can verify entries. Potential winners will have 48 hours to respond and claim the prize before another winner may be selected. The giveaway is open only to legal residents of the 50 US states and Washington, D.C., aged 18 or older. No purchase is necessary, and the official rules are available at Xbox Promotions.
Interestingly, the prize is best suited for display rather than everyday use. However, it is an unusual way for Xbox to grab attention during the holiday gaming season.
Let me ask you, would you display this five-foot Xbox alligator in your gaming room, or is it a little too wild? Drop your answers in the comments below.
