Acer Refreshes Its Nitro RX 9070 Line With a Clean White Look


Acer is giving its Nitro Radeon RX 9070 lineup a visual refresh. Folks over at Videocardz have spotted a listing on regional websites that includes White Edition versions of its Nitro RX 9070 OC 16GB and RX 9070 XT OC 16GB graphics cards. Just to be clear, nothing has changed under the hood.

The standard Nitro RX 9070 OC White Edition is still based on AMD’s RDNA 4 architecture. It features 56 compute units, 56 ray accelerators, and 112 AI accelerators, paired with 16GB of GDDR6 memory. Acer lists a 245W total board power and a boost clock of up to 2700MHz.

The more powerful RX 9070 XT OC White Edition keeps its higher-end configuration intact. That includes 64 compute units, 64 ray accelerators, and 128 AI accelerators, along with the same 16GB of GDDR6. Power draw climbs to 340W, while boost clocks reach 3100MHz.

Cooler design and connecivity stays the same

Acer isn’t touching the cooling setup either. Both White Edition cards retain the familiar triple FrostBlade 4.0 fan design, complete with a counter-spin layout and oxygen-free heat pipes. An aluminum backplate is also listed, offering extra rigidity and protection.

Connectivity remains unchanged as well. Acer lists one HDMI 2.1 port and three DisplayPort 2.1 outputs, with PCIe 5.0 handling the interface side. The company also reiterates that these GPUs are not designed for cryptocurrency mining, and any mining-related damage is excluded from warranty coverage.

Pricing remains a mystery

For now, Acer hasn’t shared any pricing or availability details. The White Edition cards are not yet listed by retailers, suggesting a wider launch may still be some time away.
