Acer unveils new Nitro 14 and 16 gaming laptops, promises high-end performance

Acer is well-known for its devices, with the Nitro series being very popular among gamers due to its great performance.

If you’re a fan of this series, today we’re pleased to inform you that Acer has added two new members so let’s see what they offer.

Acer has just announced new Nitro 14 and 16 gaming laptops

The two new laptops were recently announced on Acer’s website, and both models will be powered by Ryzen 8040 Series CPUs.

Acer Nitro 14 specifications:

  • Up to an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processor
  • Up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060, with DLSS 3.5 technology
  • Up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X SDRAM
  • Up to 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe
  • 14.5-inch IPS display with up to 2560×1600 resolution.
  • 76 Whr battery
  • USB 4 and USB 3.2 Type C ports, dual Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, microSD slot

Acer Nitro 16 specifications:

  • Up to AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS CPU
  • Up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 with DLSS 3.5
  • Up to 32 GB of DDR5 SDRAM
  • Up to 2 TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe
  • 16-inch IPS display up to 2560×1600 resolution
  • 76 Whr battery
  • USB Type C, 3x USB Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, microSD slot

It’s also worth mentioning that both models support Ryzen AI and Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0 technology that will block external noise using AI. Lastly, Acer PurifiedView is there to ensure optimal performance during video calls.

These are both great devices, and we should see them available in May in the US. The starting price for Nitro 16 is set at $1,399.99 while Nitro 14 will cost $1,299.99. As for worldwide availability, Nitro 14 will be available in June.
