Ansys Access now available on Microsoft Azure, set to reduce deployment costs

On May 29, 2024, Ansys announced the launch of Ansys Access on Microsoft Azure to facilitate seamless deployment in the Azure infrastructure. Starting May 30, Ansys Access will be available on the Microsoft Azure Marketplace.
With the collaboration in place, you can easily deploy pre-configured Ansys applications, developed for HPC (High Performance Computing) and VMs, on the Azure cloud.
Ansys, in its 50 years of existence, has aided clients by offering the power of simulation. Now, with the launch on Microsoft Azure, enterprises switching to cloud-based solutions can benefit from all the pre-tested applications Ansys Access has in store.
Speaking about launching Ansys Access on the Azure Marketplace, Shane Emswiler, Senior Vice President of Products at Ansys, said,
As computer-aided engineering moves farther into cloud computing, it is crucial that Ansys customers have the right tools to not only keep pace with this transition, but to thrive in this new era. With Ansys Access on Microsoft Azure, IT managers can use existing or new services and licenses in one place, keeping deployment costs low. This reduction in administrative and financial obligations opens the door for increased productivity and ultimately, more innovation.
Highlighting the benefits of the collaboration, Dominik Wee, Corporate Vice President of Manufacturing and Mobility at Microsoft, said,

In the last few years, Microsoft, through collaborations and acquisitions, has transformed Azure into a user-oriented cloud computing and AI platform. The results are now visible, with Microsoft Azure emerging as a viable alternative over Google Cloud and AWS.
Previously, many other companies switched their services to Microsoft Azure, including Cognition AI, Seimens, and Khan Academy.
