Arvest App Not Working? 11 Fixes for Login, Updates and Mobile Deposit

Updated July 15, 2026

When the Arvest app is not working, check for a service notice before resetting your password or reinstalling anything. If Arvest has not reported a broader problem, install the required app update, restart your phone, switch networks and retry the login.

For an Android device that cannot access the newest app release, uninstalling and reinstalling the official Google Play version may be necessary.

Service advisory: Arvest posted an online and mobile-banking issue notice on July 13, 2026, and its official site continued to surface the notice during research on July 15. Arvest’s notice specifically advised affected Android users who could not access the latest app to uninstall and reinstall it from Google Play. Because service conditions can change, confirm the notice shown in the app before troubleshooting your account.

1. Check for an Arvest service notice

Look for an alert on the app’s opening screen or Arvest’s official online-banking page.

During a confirmed service disruption:

  • Do not repeatedly reset your password.
  • Do not submit the same transfer or payment multiple times.
  • Check whether a transaction is pending before repeating it.
  • Use another official banking channel when urgent.

A service-side problem cannot be repaired by clearing your phone.

2. Install the mandatory update

Open the official App Store or Google Play listing and select Update.

Arvest states that some new mobile-banking releases must be installed before the app will allow login.

When the store shows no update:

  1. Close the store.
  2. Restart the phone.
  3. Reopen the store.
  4. Search for Arvest manually.
  5. Confirm that the store account and device region are correct.

3. Reinstall the Android app when the update is stuck

Arvest’s July 2026 service notice directs Android users who cannot access the latest version to uninstall and reinstall the app from Google Play.

Before deleting it, confirm that you know your Login ID and password and can access the phone number or email used for verification.

Never install an Arvest APK from a third-party website.

4. Force-close the app and restart the phone

Close Arvest from the recent-apps screen. Restart the phone completely and reopen the app.

This clears a stalled banking session and reloads biometric, network and security services.

Avoid reopening the app repeatedly while the phone is still completing an operating-system update.

5. Switch internet connections

Move from Wi-Fi to cellular data, or from cellular data to a trusted private Wi-Fi network.

Turn off a VPN while troubleshooting. A VPN can alter the network route or make the connection appear to originate from an unexpected location.

Do not use public Wi-Fi for banking unless there is no safer option.

6. Clear the Android cache

Open:

Settings → Apps → Arvest → Storage → Clear cache

Test the app before selecting Clear storage. Clearing storage signs you out and removes local settings.

On iPhone, restart and update first. Reinstall the app only when those steps fail.

7. Recover the correct Login ID or password

Use Forgot Login ID or password? from the official sign-in screen.

Choose whether you need the Login ID or a password reset and complete the identity-verification flow. Arvest provides both recovery options through its sign-in process.

Do not create a second online-banking enrollment because you cannot remember the original Login ID.

8. Fix a delayed verification code

Check:

  • Spam and junk email
  • Blocked text-message senders
  • Mobile signal
  • The phone’s date and time
  • Whether the code was sent to an old number or email
  • Whether multiple code requests invalidated the first one

Wait for the newest code rather than entering several older codes in sequence.

Never give a verification code to anyone who contacts you unexpectedly.

9. Reset Face ID or fingerprint login

After an app update, password change or security review, the biometric login token may be invalidated.

Sign in once with the full Login ID and password. Then open the app’s security settings and re-enable Face ID or fingerprint login.

When biometric login fails before the password screen appears, temporarily disable it in the phone’s settings and restart the app.

10. Fix Arvest Mobile Check Deposit

Check that:

  • The account is eligible for mobile deposit.
  • Camera permission is enabled.
  • The check is endorsed as instructed.
  • The check lies on a dark, plain surface.
  • All four corners are visible.
  • The image is sharp and glare-free.
  • The entered amount matches the check.
  • The check has not already been deposited.

Arvest provides Mobile Check Deposit through its mobile-banking service for eligible accounts.

When the app freezes after submission, check deposit history before taking new photographs. Resubmitting a check that is already pending can create a duplicate-deposit concern.

11. Contact Arvest when account data looks wrong

Use official support when:

  • The account is locked.
  • A transfer appears twice.
  • A deposit is missing.
  • A balance is incorrect.
  • You see an unfamiliar transaction.
  • The app still fails on multiple devices or networks.
  • Your registered phone or email is outdated.

Use the telephone number printed on the back of your card or an official Arvest contact channel. Avoid sponsored search advertisements and unsolicited social-media replies.

Mobile-banking safety checklist

Never share:

  • Password
  • Full debit-card number
  • PIN
  • One-time verification code
  • Remote access to your phone
  • Screen-sharing access to the app

A legitimate troubleshooting step should not require another person to take control of your device.
