1. Check to see if you are online

2.Tweak your account settings

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook
  2. Click File
  3. Select Account Settings
  4. Select Account Settings again within Outlook
  5. Choose your account
  6. Select Repair to make automatic adjustments
  7. Select Change to make manual adjustments

3. Check the Mail Server

Most of the times the problem is that the mail server itself is having issues. as such, it would e a good idea to check the status of the server with the email provider used by your business.

If this issue persists, contact your network administrator, open your email in another application, or contact your email provider directly.

4. Update Microsoft Outlook

  1. Open any Office program
  2. Go to File
  3. Select Account
  4. Click on Update Options button
  5. Click on Update Now
